Update: Visa Solutions Australia’s COVID-19 Strategy 

We are currently in a highly fluid situation concerning COVID-19, and the impact on our staff, clients and the wider community is still relatively unknown. 

We are continually evaluating the situation and new information brought to light to make sure we are operating effectively through this uncertain period.  

Visa Solutions Australia will be taking the following precautions for the foreseeable future: 

Remote Work Environment
–  Our migration agent in Sydney and our migration agent in Melbourne will be working remotely due to the high prevalence of the virus in NSW and VIC.
–  Our Perth offices will continue to work as normal, however if the situation continues to worsen they will also move to working remotely.
–  Our systems and IT infrastructure allow our team to work and collaborate effectively from anywhere to ensure the same high standard of service and availability. 

Consultations and Meetings
–  All face-to-face consultations and meetings will be substituted with the appropriate telephone and digital alternatives.
–  Should you require documents to be exchanged with us, suitable notification should be given so that the necessary precautions and planning can be undertaken. 

I want to reassure you that our transition period while implementing these measures will not affect any current or future work we may be undertaking. Our staff are well-prepared and trained to work remotely, and will be able transition seamlessly without any interruption. 

The travel ban announced yesterday will undoubtedly result in a particularly difficult and uncertain time for our clients and their operations, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me or my team to discuss any issues or concerns you may have. 

Similarly, remaining lawfully onshore in Australia has never been more important for those visiting or temporarily residing here. Should you need assistance with visa appeals, extensions or any other related matter during this period we are here to assist. 

We will continue to update you with any new information as it comes to light, and we will continue to adapt our response appropriately.
