Introducing Registered Migration Agent, Miguel Valderrama

Miguel Valderrama joined the Visa Solutions Australia team in mid-August.
Miguel migrated from Peru 14 years ago as an international student. He studied for his master’s degree in financial management and accounting before working for Sensis / Yellow Pages for a little over a year.

Miguel Chooses Migration
Miguel’s experience in completing his own migration application forms and paperwork motivated him to pursue a career in migration. Throughout his experience, he encountered many migration agents, all offering different advice. He found some agents provided good advice, and some didn’t really care. During the process, he wanted to feel confident that if something wasn’t clear, that the person he was approaching would be able to help. This more than anything gave him the drive to become a migration agent. In 2013 Miguel began studying for his Certificate in Migration with a view to helping those who needed assistance in navigating the complex migration system.
Miguel has spent the last eight years working as a migration agent. While he hasn’t worked for Visa Solutions for all that long, he has found the VSA team to be supportive and welcoming and is excited by the potential for professional growth within the business.

After Hours
Miguel has a 5-year-old son, so when he is not working, he is busy keeping up with his active little boy. He also enjoys practising martial arts, in particular taekwondo, although over the last 18 months with Covid-19 restrictions in place he hasn’t had much opportunity to keep it up.
Miguel is looking forward to what the future with Visa Solutions will bring and offering the very best service to his clients.
